I eat in a lot of restaurants in Italy, but seldom have I come across one quite like this! Run by a family of real farmers that sell their own produce in their shop and serve real food cooked by really nice people . Well worth the trip, you don't find them like this any more!

It's difficult to get a bad meal in Tuscany, but Pulcino managed it. The Pici Pasta was overcooked and tasteless, the starter of assorted local meats had come straight from the fridge and were too cold to taste. The restaurant was freezing Nd I was served by a woman with a coat, hat and scarf on. The wine I was... More

We were referred here by a wine shop in Montepulciano. Family run and very friendly and warm. Food is not great quality for the price. Much better food quality elsewhere around the area. They did have a wine cellar where we were allowed to look at all of the Etruscan wine jars and an Etruscan mask. Don't bother eating here!

Their pasta with ragu was fantastic. There is also a small store within the restaurant to purchase wine, biscotti....

Tasty, but overpriced food, snobby atmosphere. For instance , a glass of Prosecco is not available, only if you by a bottle. So many good alternatives in the neighbourhood !

We had a dinner in this place just because it was on the road. I couldn't understand at the begin if it was a restaurant or a shop for where tourists could find very commercial and expensive stuff. At the end we had a sit in the restaurant, we had a fiorentina steak with a bottle of 20 euro wine... More

Although the location looks nice, the food is below average and the service is bad. Personnel serves dishes, of which in our case one was the wrong order and the other was cold. Drinks are very expensive.

Really nice views, good wine, decent prices, good service, great views, and a really cool decanter. We liked it so much, we ate there twice.

We decided to eat here as it was close to our hotel and we didn't want to drive into town. You enter the restaurant through an area which sells wine, olive oils, meats and cheeses etc which was a little strange, however this then opened up into an enormous restaurant area with enough tables to seat two coach loads! There... More
