Friendly local trattoria. Appealing menu featuring really good food, served in a charming setting. Great place for a leisurely lunch.

We were the first folks in the door for dinner, but this small restaurant filled up fast with both locals a few tourists. The pasta was top-notch. The one waitress covered the whole crowd flawlessly.

We were a party of 9. Seated straightaway but the restaurant got busy by 1pm (we arrived at 12.15pm). I had gnocchi... nice flavors, the boat was tender, wine cheap but tasted nice. Lunch was good for those of us on a budget.

Stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Orvieto. It's right next door to a wonderful wood shop that crafts all sorts of items from Olive Tree Wood.... We had a great lunch. We started off with a really interesting Appetizer of thinly sliced cured goose. Then fresh pasta with Anchovy Oil , garlic and crispy bread crumbs. My... More

We didn't feel like a large meal and we had mostly eaten pizza since we had been in Italy. We chose pasta to see if it was noticeably better than we get at Italian restaurant back in NZ. It was. Wow. Such purity of flavour. And the wine they recommended was magnificent. The restaurant filled up rapidly after we arrived... More

Good food, moderate prices. Although La Pergola is on a very "touristy street" it is not just tourists who frequent the restaurant. Recommended to us by a friend, who is a local, we enjoyed our meals there. We had both lunch and dinner there, as it is close to where we are staying, and the restaurant was crowded and had... More

This place was packed when we walked past, so we thought it must be good. We got the last table which was situated out the back in the indoor glass pergola. The food was fast and the service friendly. We ate so much and with 2 bottles of wine was not even 25 euro each. A great place to enjoy... More

We found this place by chance. The restaurant is traditional yet contemporary with beautifully made wooden shelves with leaves and bunches of grapes made from wood. Exquisite. The place was busy so we shared a carafe of local wine whist we waited for our meal. We were rewarded with an exceptional meal of pasta with wild boar ragu. With a... More

It was an unexpected surprise! we were looking for a typical restaurant and we found this nice restaurant, just near the Duomo. We eat affettati, cheese, gnocchi, duck....everything was so tasty that we return the day after. The duck was cooked in a perfect way! Enjoy!
