We loved finding this cafe after wandering the cobblestones in Orvieto. Antonny E. Le Grande welcomed us in the Blue Cafe and gave us the best cappuccino and the friendliest service we received on our whole trip. We so enjoyed chatting with Antonny and learning a bit about living in such a magical place. He spoke of walking his son... More

Anthony is the perfect host to this sweet little stop just off the Piazza Republica. Espresso, wine, cappucino? He'll make to order and probably play a little something on his guitar for you too.

We have spent a month in Orvieto and on our second last day we find "Blue Bar". How kind and obliging Antony was. He was so helpful with anything about Orvieto we asked. The location is great and our panini and coffee was very delicious and beautifully served.

4 beers and a singalong with Antony on guitar, we are back again today for more. Its a very reasonably priced bar and sitting on the street people watching is delightful.

Anthony was cheerful & charming. He provided us with a welcome tray of great tasting coffee, beer and witty chat - followed by a delicious free custard croissant too! We were delighted at the low bill & invitation to return...which we will - we highly recommend this little bar/cafe (we sat outside at a quiet little table) - whether you... More

The Blue Bar is the place to stop in Orvieto for a coffee, a drink or recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Orvieto. Anthony and his wife Romina and their young son Leonardo are the unofficial hosts of Orvieto.

We stumbled on this place by accident looking for a pre-dinner drink venue near the restaurant we had booked. It was delightful service and the welcoming lady who served us brought platefuls of delicious appetizers to accompany our drinks. 2 of our party decided they might like a stronger gin and were going to buy another measure to add to... I learned early about Blue Bar because it's close to my usual hotel in Orvieto. It's an ideal spot for stopping in for a coffee and a bit of internet at any time, as well as a morning standard for me. The cappuccino is excellent, the fresh-squeezed orange juice is divine, and the croissants a perfect bite. But Anthony, with... More

We just popped in for a drink but Anthony was so awesome, we stayed for two more rounds! Great drinks and conversation. A must if you are in town.

I'm not a coffee drinker but this little place was great for tea, pastries & the fresh squeezed orange juice was the best! Anthony is so friendly & goes out his way to serve & plays the guitar if you want soothing music.
