Stopped in here for quick lunch. The pizza is amazing, one of the best tasting ever.....and we've been to most places in Italy! Good service and extensive menu, shame we couldn't try the non-pizza options on the menu (as there were many), but we only visited porto venere for the afternoon. Highly reccommend!

Spent couple of hours with a mixed fresh fish starter with pizza to follow. Very good all round and an added bonus was having good draught beer too. I recommend this restaurant which is also very close to the departure point of boats to Manarola etc.

Had a wonderful lunch here today. Went for the tasting plate option with various local style focaccia, hams and a great local white from neighbouring island of Palmaria. Wouldn't hesitate to revisit!!!

Perhaps a tad generous with a 4 star rating as this area is not especially known for pizza... but as a takeaway option it hit the spot. The pizza Bianca was perfectly acceptable and we didn't wait long. Vegetarian options available.

We got here reasonably early and were able to get a table. The beer selection was average, the wine by the glass not existent other than one house white. We ordered the farinate sampler (cheese, pesto, pickled onions, plain), it was a pleasant change from the focaccia everywhere. My boyfriend had the squid salad (very good), I had the mussels... The waitress that was seating us was so rude that we walked out. So can't really say if the food was good or not, although the restaurant had been recommended by a local.

Going out for dinner you want a experience something special. Nice people around you, good food, people taking care of you. Right? Well, this place came with nice people and good food. However, the service was a disaster. It took forever (1hr 20min) to get seated and served. Staff appeared overwhelmed by the amount a guests. If they improve the... More
