We were in Positano in the middle of the November which off-season as many places were closed. However there still remains a few restaurants opened from where i was staying (Conca D'oro). Certainly this was the best meal i had in Positano. Atmosphere of the place is warm and inviting with friendly waiter. Ordered a seafood risotto and seafood spaghetti... More

We ventured into Positano during the off-season and were concerned that most places would be closed. Thankfully Ristorante Meiterraneo was open and our luck continued with our server Andrew. Our dishes were the grilled shrimp, gnocchi, and riogatoni. Everything was amazing and to top it off there was a birthday party that livened the place up once we were wrapping... More

Beautiful food. Our last night in Positano and the dinner we had was delicious. We had bruschetta for entree and that was amazing. So fresh and tasty. We ended up ordering a second serving of it. The waiter was great. Had fun and made a few jokes. Our mains were so good,I had a gnocchi and my husband the ragu... More

Waiters are good at service and also entertaining. It seems that fabulous Italian baritone is an essential quality if you work at Ristorante Mediterranean. Another Positano restaurant that invokes the Saracen past. Yet this appears to concentrate of the Sirens of the sea. One of the local desserts served here takes this to a point so to speak, naming their... More

Leonardo (the owner) and Rodrigo (his brother-in-law) were so friendly! The food was very good and the service was even better. Not cheap but a good value. Can't overestimate the friendly nature of the staff there.

After an afternoon of negotiating the local roads, local traffic and local driving we were recommended Ristorante Mediterraneo to wind down, relax and enjoy. The venue, food, wine and service provided this and more! The venue was great on this pleasant evening. The staff were engaging, very happy, good fun and completed their roles perfectly. The food and wine (much... More

Peter the local Italian with the British accent, trained with Hester Blumenthal and was now running cooking classes. We booked for the following night and he recommended this place at the top of the hill. We were at the bottom! And that means a lot in Positano. We heard the sound of a guitar from a distance. Busy waiters greeted... More

Description
The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.
