It's been a few years now but I've always remembered this place. Partly for the incredible steak we had - the bistecca fiorentina - and partly for the gorgeous wine - a primitivo, can't quite remember which. A bit expensive but definitely worth it. Most of all, though it was quiet, the amazing view and very friendly service made this... More

The perfect place to start our Italian vacation. Low key, personal, professional and lovely food. I am still searching for a lemoncelo cake to even hold a candle to the one served here. do your self a favor and eat here.

NOTE: This is a long overdue review from our trip to Positano in June of 2012. We are returning in Sept of 2015 and this place will be a Must Eat! We chose this restaurant (with skepticism) on a recommendation from our Hotel Concierge. Tony from Hotel Pasitae.... He couldn't have steered us more in the right direction! This large... More

Ristorante Scirocco isn't much on decor, however, the food, hospitality and views are wonderful. We dined with locals and served by the owner Antonio, who has been living in Montepertuso all his life. My wife and I seek out off the beaten path experiences and enjoyed our evening at Scirocco. The food was fantastic, the service excellent and a great... More

Ristorante Scirocco is a littler higher up on the cliff but they will come pick you up from your hotel and the owner is incredibly sweet (Antonio) and it was the best food I had in Italy (I had the pesto pasta and my friend had the spaghetti with meatballs) .. If you have the time absolutely make it a... More

The owner made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived by giving us a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery. He then answered all of our questions about the history of the area and we enjoyed fresh tomatoes from the region before we had even started to decide what we wanted to order. The food was amazing... I was looking for WIFI during the day when I came across this restaurant. The owner invited me in and I watched my sports game, enjoyed a few beers, and left feeling very good, then decided to go back for dinner the next night, boy did we regret it. The restaurant is always empty, now I know why, it isn't... More

We were recommended this restaurant and did not disappoint, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff we extremely friendly. I went with my girlfriend, at the end of the meal they gave us a complementary watermelon in the shape of a heart. That was very appreciated. They also offer free shuttle service from the Peer of Positano to... More

No menu but a waiter saying that we can make an arangement by seeing what the kitchen was able to do (because the restaurant was completely empty). Thus, we had 4 gnocchis (an almost empty plate), 2 plates of tomato-mozzarella, 4 desserts and 4 drinks. And a bill of 108€ for a meal without meat or fish ... Obviously when... More

Some friends and I happened to stop by Scirocco in the mid-afternoon at the end of a challenging hike in the mountains around Positano. The owner, Antonio, was wonderful and welcoming as we helped ourselves to several plates of antipasti and several drinks. The food was fresh and excellent; Antonio brought out several different local meats and cheeses and tasty... More

This resaurant is sometimes considered to be part of Positano but it is actually located in a small city called Montepertuso which is right up above Positano in the Mountains. The restaurant has an amazing view and very tranquil atmosphere. Service is great, and is literally a family restaurant. The food they offer is out of this world, fresh ingredients, and absolutely delicious. Personal favorite is the Florentine steak and I can't go without mentioning nona's Ravioli. The restaurant offers a free shuttle service that can pick you up and even drop you off back at you hotel in Positano after a little too much to drink. It's a shame that this restaurant isn't already listed! I hope that tripadvisor will give people the opportunity to learn about this delicious restaurant.
