AMAZING FOOD, hot, delicious, used fresh vegetables and herbs, tasty, a bit pricey but it is fresh good food with good portions! It's a must try, the atmosphere is interesting, even has an outdoor patio and live Entertainment on weekends.. We stayed at the Millcroft Inn but choose to eat elsewhere that night and knew we made a right decision... More

Great meal and atmosphere. Excellent gluten free options. We'll be back again - we're just down the road of course.

Awesome restaurant. Don't forgot to take home some of the baked goods! Or just go for the bake goods. I've been buying the baking here whenever I can since 1965 and they have never disappointed.

This was a gem of a meal. Very nice extensive menu and excellent food. Prices are very reasonable and the service second to none. I think it is my favourite restaurant in the area. Ambiance is very good.

This cozy little restaurant is across from the Alton Mill. It turned into a favourite after spending a lot of time at the Mill a few years ago. The menu is always changing and offers interesting and diverse culinary options. It is where I go for my birthday dinner with my spouse. It is a little tight in there and... More

I had lunch here this week and I was very pleased. French onion soup, steak and mushroom pie, salad, and dessert was all excellent. Service was super friendly. Alton is a very nice little town to walk around with a few galleries and art studios; I think making a day of it and hitting up Rays for lunch would be... More

Rays is a small restaurant, so make sure to book a reservation if you are going at a popular time. Food and ambiance is wealth worth the trip.
