Lots of locals eating in this buzzy and friendly restaurant. Very good food and service. Plenty of delicious things to choose from and the inevitable Limoncella offered at the end!

We found this restaurant when in Vieste and loved the fact we could sit outside in the "Box" an enclosed patio that let us watch the world go by, this made everyone in our party very happy.. The service was fast and the food was very good.. hot and fresh. The octopus salad was excellent and my pork steak was... More

Had a great lunch meal here on a gray and cloudy weekday. Simple, fresh fish was delicious and well priced. On the house bruschetta appetizer was tasty and welcome. We had everything from basic orecchiette with a tomato sauce to mussels marinara to fried calamari and tuna carpaccio. Each was well seasoned, delicious, and a pleasure to eat. We sat... More

Stopped here for lunch and had the most wonderful plate of fresh cooked prawns in brandy. Best lunch we had in Vieste

Good food at very reasonable prices. No food on offer at our hotel so ate here for three nights – we did not order expensive dishes but the service was excellent, the local wine very drinkable and reasonably priced, and the coffee excellent. Also the free Bruchetta and Limonchino were a much appreciated gesture.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. The food was really very delicious. It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view to the harbor, sea and ships. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The prices were reasonable.

Nice restaurant for lunch with friendly service. I had the Tuna Carpaccio which was a different dish from the carpaccio I usually have in Sydney but equally enjoyable. I also had a lovely fresh cherry tomato salad served with olive oil and basil. A perfect combination for lunch.

One can eat outside - sheltered from the traffic and weather by glass, roofed terrace. Good view of harbour & beach. Great food, though locals tend to eat indoors we preferred outside for the view

A cozy seafood restaurant at the center of Vieste. Octopus salad with olives and anchovies in vinegar were delicious starters, followed by perfectly cooked shrimps risotto and homemade spaghetti. We skipped desserts for on the house limoncello - a perfect ending for a pleasent dinner.

Box 19 was recommended to us by our B&B hosts. Definitely a good recommendation. We were not disappointed. Box 19 is located just off the main square which separates Vieste from the old town. What the restaurant lacks in atmosphere is more than made up for by the quality of food on offer. We liked the food so much that... More
