We stumbled upon Padre Pio & decided to give it a try. We were pleased by the warm welcome & friendly service. The house red wine was just fine. The pasta selections offered traditional tastes like orichietta with crushed tomatoes. The fritto misto seafood platter was heaped with fish, shrimp & calamari.

As a descendant of Viestane parents I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a ristorante in the Vieste antica section of town. Here is what we had: Eggplant parmigiano, Fresh gnocchi, Misto fritto (fried seafood and fresh sardines) Linguine alle seppie (squid ink) with shrimp. All of it was exceptional except I found the linguine to be a... More

This restaurant is situated in the old part of the city in a small and very nice alley. You can sit inside of outside. We had a table at the alley in a very nice mood. Because the tables outside are partly situated just of the main alley you can sit here for a relaxing diner. The service is good.... More

There is something about this place that left me amazed. The portions are perfect and the taste is unique. The ambience even gives it a slight touch. The service is slow if you are not used to proper restaurants that wait for everyone to be finished to be finished to prepare the next dish so the taste is fresh. The... More

A nice little place with some alley way seating outside. A fairly young clientele my starter of stuffed prawns of bacon and bean purée was very good and my wife had shrimp with lemons although not as good. I had sea bass with grilled vegetables and wife had stuffed squid with ricotta. We shared a fig with peppercorn pudding, slightly... More

Nice restaurant, but the food was not as home made as I had expected. The sauce for instance was not home made.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The food was excellent including a great local wine. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. Loved the octopus appetizer followed by an amazing squid dish and a branzino baked in salt. Highly recommend all of these dishes.

The food here is quiet good. The portions however are TINY and overpriced. Obviously they are cashing in on the tourist trade by charging double the rate you can find in the local restaurants. After three courses I was left hungry and in search of more food... When leaving the restaurant we were offered a complementary liquor. Once we accepted... More

a nicely decorated restaurant located in the oldest part of Vieste. The food was very very good. We were amazed with the variety of starters and main menus that were just different, with new type of flavours we didn't test before that were really excellent. Delicate appearance of served plates. If you like pasta, you will also find it.
