We arrived in Viterbo late on a Monday evening and expected to have to eat at a pizzeria or a fast food place. Luckily our hosts at B & B Piazza del Gesu managed to book a table here. What a lucky chance. Everything was just what we like, typical local dishes cooked with care, with interesting touches that make... More

This was a quaint little restaurant but unfortunately the food was disappointing to say the least. There were much better restaurants in Viterbo and we wouldn't recommend this one.

I stayed in Viterbo for three weeks this past summer and was privileged to eat at this restaurant more than once. This is a small restaurant but the intimacy is comforting. The food was top notch. While only one member of the staff speaks English, they are more than gracious and did their best to communicate despite the language barrier.... More

Don't come expecting high class gourmet, but this place is a solid little place for your basic pasta and secondi. Never found it bad, over several years.

Went on advice of our hotel. Had eaten there 20 years ago. Tonight the chicken had been reheated over and over and was dried out; it was stuffed with olives that had not been pitted. The porchetta was also dried out. Even the water was not cold. Salad was ok. Really you can do better anywhere.

Viterbo is a beautiful city and pre-dates the Romans. Inside the city walls is a wonderful thriving old centre and this amazing restaurant dates from the 1600s!!!! Ask them about the wonderful painting from which the place takes its name. The food is simple and genuine and sooo tasty. We had ravioli served in a sausage sauce, then I had... More

We dined twice at this restaurant. The first time was on a Monday as the restaurant that we originally planned to visit was booked out and and they suggested to try the Tre Re. Some reviewers have mentioned unfriendly service but I have to say that the young guy serving us on both nights was very friendly, polite and helpful. Highlights... More

A small restaurant that has been there for ages and authentically gives you that feeling. When we entered the place many of the guests were local an this was reassuring. The food was good, not exceptional. Genrally, a good place to eat.

This is a small little Italian restaurant with amazing food. The ravioli was delicious, and I have never had anything as good as the Caramelle Verdi Di Gorgonzola e noci. The portions seemed a little small but maybe that was because it was so good I wanted more! Great place, nice people.
