Definitely have the plate of cured meats, cheeses, and olives! Busy, bustling spot right on the Via Annio. Great music, and kind, patient waiters who are happy to explain some of the items on the menu. Very nice atmosphere and decor.

We came to Taverna Etrusca after spending the afternoon at Il Bagnaccio. We parked outside the walls in a small free car park and began to wander down the main streets. When abroad, we always love to explore the small side streets and try to eat in unobtrusive places where locals go to eat good regional dishes. Taverna Etrusca is... More

We wanted one of those great Italian pizzas. With the potato chip thin crust. The pizzeria recommended to us was closed so we tried this one. It was great. The dessert we chose was gelato emotionale. What a treat! Three scoops of gelato but the scoop in the center had been hollowed out and filled with Sambucca. Yum yum.

We arrived in the late afternoon, so Taverna Etrusca was not crowded. Nice decor with exposed brick/stone with dark red/orange walls. Love the pizzas here!! Thin and crispy. We had one with sausage and mushrooms (only 7 euros) along with a small carafe of white wine (3 euros). Highly recommended.

Return trip to this traditional eaterie in Viterbo centre. Easy to reach (parking a bit on the murder side). Pizza is stunning! I recommend it wholeheartedly. Excellent cakes (I had the mille-feuille). Very good wine. Interesting selection of unusual beers and ales. The primi piatti were not as good as the pizza but no surprise there as their pizzas are... The pizzas are brilliant and typical Rome - thin, crips and amazingly full of flavour! The Gorgonzola gelato a must!!!!!!

the restaurant is a not on a main street and you have to look for it, but it is definitely worth looking for it. The meals were very good, the portions generous and the staff extremely friendly. the decoration is nice.
