The Red Lion is only a short drive outside of Chester but could be 100's of miles away. it is a lovely village inn with a sunny beer garden. food and drinks always good. .

Just called in for a drink at lunchtime. The pub was quiet. It's comfortable in a nice little village. We didn't eat so can't judge it too much, but it is well presented and comfortable. I would go to eat if in the area.
