This is a very, very, very special place. The fact that it exists in Alsace today, where it is difficulty to even find a decent choucroute these days, is a miracle. Long may they run. and I adore the carrot. It's one of the signature dishes you will never forget. Go there. Enjoy!

My 28 year old daughter and I enjoyed dinner at Le Bistro des Saveurs while on a mother-daughter "Christmas Market" trip to France and Germany before Christmas. I cannot say enough about this epicurean gem. As we entered the restaurant, we were met with a warm amber glow - so welcoming after the cold, bitter air of the December night.... More

I'm always going there when I can stop by. The food was incredibly fresh and very tasty. The service was good and professional. Good place for dinner as well as lunch if you have time. Somehow It's pretty pricy for one star Michelin.

We were the only people to dine that evening and that may have impacted the limited choices we had to choose from, but the chef is very very inventive and it was a very enjoyable experience

It will cost you two to three times a meal at a "menu touristico" but if you do not have a "Brainio non functiono" then have a meal like we did. Absolutely exquisite and which will remain a defining meal in our recollections of Alsace for the rest of our days P

Unlike the UK where quantity over quality determines value for money French cooking is all about flavour, texture and taste. This restaurant provides this in spades Although it's a limited menu the alternatives are full of complex flavours and combinations. In attendance are attentive, extremely knowledgeable yet unobtrusive staff. Just as it should be. It's a quiet and simple environment... More

Throughout the meal we were treated by surprises from the baker's oven, starting with a bowl of bread dough at the table that was whisked away and returned freshly baked 30 minutes later. One of the chef's signature dishes, L'oeuf dans l'oeuf à la truffe, was a delight, and La Simple Carotte is just that but earns a smile for... More

We escaped the crowd in town to the calm beauty of the Bistrot. The interior is a mix of modern and antique that works beautifully-it is a stunning building. Lots of quirky touches but the most brilliant is your bread proving on the table until you arrive and then baked whilst you look at the menu-incredibly good but don't fill... More

Lovely restaurant which has a very different take on food. At the beginning I thought they were trying to look too different. By the end of the meal, I indeed had a great experience. Recommended though not cheap.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, in an old half-timbered building, with an open fire inside. Service was outstanding as was the cuisine. Wines were worth writing home for. Served in a unique way from the cutlery all the way up to the way the food was presented. Wish I could add photos!
