We stumbled in at 2:20 pm (closes at 2:30) but they agreed to serve us anyway. The whole experience was so exceptional we went 2 more times during our vacation in Cancale.

The food was excellent. And the presentation was artful and fun. With linen tablecloths & napkins. (Rare in the USA). Enjoyed the artwork too.

We stayed in the hotel so it was convenient to eat in the restaurant. We found the menu to be well thought out, based on the use of fresh, local produce and absolutely delicious. Will definitely return and can fully recommend.

We really enjoyed this place. Very good food, wine and service. Quirky interior. Nice location near the church. Also had a terasse that would be nice when it is warmer.

Set in a quiet square (except on market day), this quirky little restaurant makes a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of the beachside restaurants & cafes; on first entering, the tables laid with white tablecloths suggest a very traditional French restaurant but then...More

The chef of this place is really creative. We went there two nights in a row ;-) Trust her and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

The food was certainly acceptable but also certainly not like that pictured. It is more simple, but not cheaper. The welcome was so very gracious and accommodating and the very young chef came out to ensure we were happy with the selections I almost feel...More

We stayed at La Maison de la Marine and had dinner there. While the hotel was average (good, friendly service, tired physicals) the restaurant is exceptional. Agree with all the positive reviews already posted but want to add that the young lady who served us...More

The chef at this restaurant is very talented and the meals we had here were excellent - innovative, tasty, interesting and satisfying. The wine list was both quality and very good value for money, enhanced by the owner's knolwedge and adivce. Highly recommended

We took the opportunity to choose our own main course and let the chef surprise us with the appetizers and dessert. They were great surprises. Each came with three parts, all of the highest quality and presentation. For mains we had the local fish with...More
