This was quite frankly one of the worst ´meals´ I have ever been served .......... I deliberately didn´t write ´worst ´meals´ I have ever been served´ ....... because it was hardly a meal and I didn´t eat it. I´ve had plenty of much tastier meals, off an open camp fire, while working deep in the Zimbabwean bush as an Aid... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting the Saturday market in Arras. Had a beer each plus one course. Scallops were excellent! Our friends had a French version of ham, egg and chips - huge portions that neither of them could finish. The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were able to park on a meter,... More

Friendly welcome by staff, quickish service outside. Food very good and prices quite reasonable, considering being right on the square. Dessert gourmande was wonderful!

My friends and wife booked this restaurant because it had a beef stew on the menu and I had been raving about the Flemish beef stew I enjoyed in Ypres ten days previously.... Well the beef stew was off the menu the evening we went! So was my second choice faux-filet de boeuf ! But they said they could do... More

Went to this place on recommendation of tour leader. The inside decor is decked out with a maritime theme. Staff very attentive. You need to speak a little French though to get through the process. Food was very good. Steak cooked to perfection and salmon pasta thing tasted good. Creme brulee to finish and done to perfection. Only had three... More

Sat outside in the sunshine but parasols blew over and I was hit on the head. Staff not really bothered. I asked for a glass of water- which arrived. They were not at all concerned that I was hurt. Food was good wine was terrible. Don't drink the house rosé!

Ok, what to say. I had a great meal. Their specialty, moules. Au roquefort. Lovely. Other dish on the table, also eaten by the owner at the table next to us (always a good sign!): trilogie du ch'ti. Absolutely good. Salmon a bit dry though. And stuffed tomatoe a bit tasteless. Coquilles, vegetables etc were great. Fresh made mayonaise. House... More

3rd visit, 3rd year, all great. If you like seafood you will love here, the service and quality is very good. Arras tends to be be a little 'fast food' and bars, but after a drink in the square followed by a meal in Le Bateau, finishes a great holiday in France.

Great seafood restaurant which specialises in mussels. There is seating both inside the restaurant and outside in the square. The food was delicious and service was reasonable. Good place to eat, drink and watch the passers-by.
