Very good restaurant on first street of the monastery. You do not need to go up steps. The food was very good. The prices are somewhat higher (35 Euro per meal) but you get to have a unique experience.

This hotel is ridiculously expensive for the value The staff at the reception was overwhelmed, unhelpful and not friendly .. we were very disappointed as we expected a better service from this historically famous place. Service at the restaurant was good and staff very polite . The famous omelets are so expensive (34eur for the basic one) Breakfast buffet was... More

Don't miss a stop here to enjoy a great meal. The omelettes are amazing. Desserts, too. I really enjoy the pictures and artifacts on the walls. I'd love to stay at the hotel sometime.

We were there with friends, five people. The place has a history of food and there are autographs on the walls of famous peoples Margaret Tetcher, Francois Mitterand, Hernest Hemingway, etc. However, the omelettes which make these restaurant famous does not worth so much, as it is not as special was expected.

We went there with a group of four and left hungry. We each ordered a three course menu. The soup was cold, the salas was very oily ans the terrine looked like dry dog food. The main course: the mussels were overcooked and fell apart and weren't cleaned properly. They were still full of sand. We told this and they... More

Known for its omelettes, but it is more like a soufflé. You can watch them being made and while they won't reveal their secrets, I can tell you it involves at least a half a cup of butter! It is cooked on an open fire in a long handled frying pan. The result is a light fluffy and foamy "omelette".... More

If you love omelettes it is worth the price. I would go at lunch however it is a lot cheaper, same food. The prices are high and waits long but for a a person truly interested in food history it is worth it. At night you will need reservation, for lunch you might get a table with out one. Contrary... I went for lunch on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded. I got to get a table, but service was slow, as expected due to the huge amount of customers. Prices for drinks were too high: soda ~7 euros, coffee the same, 9 euros for a cup of wine... I took the full menu (35 euros) to try the... More

We were really impressed with the open kitchen for public to view how their special omelettes were prepared. So we entered to try to get a table for lunch. We were shocked to be arrogantly told by a head waiter not to bother to wait, and that he cannot tell us how long the wait will be, and he can... More

Our dinner got off to a dire start with sullen, imprecise service. We repeatedly had to ask the waiter for wine we'd ordered, remind him of what we'd ordered, etc. The famous omelette? It was just okay, but certainly NOT worth the money charged. So my advice is visit Le Mont Saint Michel really early and head back to the... More
