We had dinner there when looking for a a Sunday night dinner, often difficult in France. It was a short walk from our hotel, on a lovely evening. I had foie gras first, pâté de maison for my husband. Then he had a braised lamb shank while I had a steak, both came with frites. Profiteroles for him, café Liégeois... More

This place has been founded by two butchers ; As a consequence, they mainly propose meat, very good meat from our experience . The staff is nice and they have a large clientele of locals, always a good sign. If you look for a good beefsteak or want to try the french rognons, this is your place !

After walking around the city, we thought that this was the place. Indeed, many french here. But this was the most disappointing resto in our 2016 spring vacation. And expensive too. The waiter has autistic treats, he says he doesn't know it the place has wifi and has never heard of a password. The Caesar salad is a concoction of... More

As a solo female traveller, I was well received--a table even reserved for me when I enquired earlier about dinner. I chose one of the special menus one offer which featured delicious cuisine bourgeoise and was a real bargain in the quality and variety of wines selected by the glass to accompany each course. The service was attentive and friendly... More

Simple but delicious food with best quality meat. Friendly staff and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend it.

Main course was not seasoned, one dish was not as ordered, potato instead of risotto, no explanation, as it looked OK till we tried it. Not very welcoming, as we didn't want wine I suppose.

Correct classic food; only the french fries were greasy and not tasty. Restaurant is nice and service is helpful and friendly.

I had a very nicemeal in this restaurant with work colleagues. The restaurant is well known for its excellent meat and my steak did not disappoint. Portion sizes are huge and there is a lot of choice for both starters and main dishes. It gets busy, which shows its popularity. It is in the centre of town.

A lack of practical help in interpreting the menu was the problem with this restaraunt. In this day of translation software, there is no reason why a restaraunt or a hotel cannot have a version of a menu or similar in just about any language required. I finished up with a half cooked lump of burger mince, together with a... More
