Certainly a restaurant worth a visit if you are keen on fish. Ingredients are -logically and fortunately- fresh and of good quality and the dishes are well presented too. However i regret that there are no seafood platters or specific regional recipes offered making you feel that you could very well be anywhere in France

The food was average, fine - but not more than that. The waiter was close to being un-polite and forgot or ignored parts of the order. Wine was served when we were allmost through the meal. Accounts were faulty, wine were accounted double. At that day the restaurant not busy and only a few other guests.

This chef here has some real talent but he lacks a good palet. THe fish soup was homemade which is truly wonderful these days but it was far too light..having said that it was vastly improved by the Rouille with lacked garlic.. I got into it and loved it by the end but there was far too little of it.... More

Hotel was always VERY VERY Good, we always had one or more of the three rooms with the long Balcony facing the sea. Food was good, although the menu didn't change much. Host and his wife were always nice and friendly. I believe the (original?) Chef is still there. The only thing putting us off staying there now is the... More

Went there for Father's Day - having lived in this town for many years. The food is top quality (except overcooking / lack of preparation of the octopus), and the presentation is amazing as well. Setting is very good - ask for the main room if you want light and the view. However there are quite a few issues that... More

Having seen the reviews by other diners, I had to check the bill for Les Flots to make sure it was the same restaurant. Recommended by the owner of the b&b where we were staying, we had high hopes when she described it as a traditional bistro. It is anything but. An ultra-modern brightly-lit space with rigid angular furniture within... More

This was the most perfect lunch. Sautéed gambas in a bowl of delicately flavoured Thai broth, followed by a succulent and delicious fish stew. Ile de Ré white wine - so lovely - and all the tastiest accompaniments. We were served by a delightful moustachioed waiter and we gazed out at the kite surfers, feeling blessed.

Very busy restaurant in a lovely seaside town. Good food, excellent service in a nice setting looking out over the beach towards the sunset. Would I eat here again? Yes

On a disappointingly wet, winyd and cold summer's day, this restaurant met our needs precisely. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere friendly, relaxed yet professional, the menu reasonably varied and the food of good quality and quantity, as well as being well presented, and the wine represented good value. Will become our regular restaurant on future visits to the resort.
