I ate at Escalet after returning from the La Ciotat. This restaurant with a bistro feel spécilaités is known for its fish. It is run by very friendly people, the atmosphere is friendly and the wait is not long between courses. There are always daily specials, the food is varied. I liked their dish: spaghetti with lobster sauce. A real... More

One of the many restaurant on the port of La Ciotat. But additionally to the "usual" fish, more or less the same in all these restaurants, here you can find a true Italian pizza, good and cooked with wood fire (as it should be!). An exception in France. Then the service is very good, and the place is very pleasant... More

Always seem to go to this restaurant when I'm in town! Friendly staff with good food. Well worth trying the duck!! And don't forget to try the coffee with dessert!

Great position overlooking the harbour, delicious pizzas, pretty good value, but not the best service. It was a shame that the dog on the next table (!) got a more friendly welcome than we did!

Most restaurants on seaside in this area are all the same, reasonable avearge quality... this is far better without being too expensive. If you like fish, you get very good quality, well cooked and well presented, large portions... If you go on "pizza", here you get an almost "perfect" Italian pizza (and not a "local" version like in most places... More

A small Italian restaurant sitting next to the harbor. All the foods are good but their pizza is exceptional! Love their seafood pizza.

This is my favorite pizzeria in LaCiotat and the pizza is made the proper way - in a woodfire oven! They also have other dishes and good salads. Definitely a place that should not be missed.

When I walk past each day at around 6 pm I see the guy unloading his car full of fire wood, there he is back and forth with hands full of wood getting ready for the evening ahead. I wanted to check it out because of course wood fired pizza is the best. I gave it 5 stars for their... More

You can often trust a full restaurant on a non-holiday, after 8 pm. This one was full because it is a favorite, offering pizza, pastas, seafood, and fast efficient service. Nothing romantic or special, just good food at reasonable value.

Went here for pizza on our first night in La Ciotat. The food was very average, nothing special and the waitstaff seemed to be less than attentive. I felt it was overpriced for what it was. There are certainly better options in town if you spend a little time to hunt around.
