A dear friend of mine who has lived in the country for over 20 years has been going to this restaurant for a while now and suggested I go there while on my honeymoon. We stayed on the property and had dinner at the restaurant...and we're blown away by the incredible Fusion of different cultures of Israeli food. Jonathan or Yoni is a fantastic operator and we loved the experience we shared at the restaurant. Highly recommend going out there and seeing the view of the Sea of galilee. Quite beautifulMore

I ate at Moshbutz Thursday and the again Sunday - in the weekend it was completely sold out. I was warmly welcomed at the bar on Thursday and had a light meal and a glass of their wonderful Roséwine from Assaf Winery with very good...explanation from the young man in the bar. Today, Sunday, I succeeded to have a table with a perfect view to the Kinneret, a very good meal and more of the rosé. You feel welcomed and for sure I will return next time I am in the North of Israel - and remember to reserve a table :-)More

Nice local fresh menu, great atmosphere overlooking the Sea of Galilee. I had a selection of homemade chorizos and a great local on-tap beer. Service was excellent. Located in Ramot, a Kubbutz turned Moshav....thus the name Moshbutz.

We've been coming to Moshbutz every time we've visited Israel since we first stumbled on this Gem in 2010. It's never failed to exceed our expectations and this last time was no exception. We decided to host my son's Bar Mitzvah here (ceremony and meal)...because of it's wonderful location and amazing food. Needless to say it was a resounding success. In addition to the food, the staff went above and beyond to help make the day special. Yonatan and his amazing staff, pitched in not just with the food but with technical audio/visual support to help make the virtual Bar Mitzvah a super special occasion. They could not have been more helpful or more willing to make our day special. The awesome food was just the perfect culmination to a truly special day.More

First of all, this is a meat place. I couldn't find options that doesn't have meat. The mest options are very good. We tried a cold roastbeef and liver pâté (from a veal). Excellent! Than we took a porterhouse steak and pappardella ragu. Very good....One thing is that the default cooking level is medium. You can ask for a different level - but not on all dishes! That's a pitty. Service is quick informative and freindly. Definitely a place to return to.More

Coming from Montreal, a city well known for gastronomic delights, and having had the good fortune to have dined all over the globe, I can say, unequivocally, that Moshbutz ranks alongside other incredible meals I’ve eaten anywhere. The atmosphere is casual but not sloppy. The...staff are friendly and the service is over the top. Creative cuisine, using local products when possible is the byword of the restaurant. And variation rules the day. Osso bucco, steak, vegetarian dishes, salads, pasta - take your choice, you cannot go wrong. The alcohol list is extensive, using local products for creative twists on classic standards. The Golan is becoming a hotbed of creativity, be it music, creative arts, or cuisine. Moshbutz is a prime example as to where northern Israel is heading. Nacho is the maître d’ and sets the tone. All visitors are greeted with a big smile and made to feel welcome. A trip to the Golan/Sea of Galilee should be a must for all visitors. And when you get here treat yourself to an incredibly delicious and enjoyable dining experience.More

One of the hard things for a restaurant is to maintain a high standard. I visit the restaurant a third time and always enjoy it even more. The main thing in the restaurant is the quality of the meat, which undoubtedly remains high. The service...is courteous and professional, the atmosphere is pleasant and the view of the Sea of Galilee is amazing. A must stop for anyone coming to northern Israel.More
