Nice old-fashioned place with plenty of local spezialitets (wild boar, duck, trout and deer). Prices are a little bit higher than in other nearby places

I like a restaurant with character and this one has lots. We were instantly welcome and there was an English Menu translation, which helped my wife a lot. Her schnitzel with the mushroom sauce went down well and the braised leg of deer in red wine sauce (served with Spaetzle) was served piping hot and was really delicious. Dessert was... More

It's not your ordinary heavy German food fare. Although it's pretty heavy on the meats, they are wonderfully prepared. My girlfriend really like cooked cabbage, and the rotkohl here was her favorite (she asked them to substitute it into her order instead of something else, they were happy to). The back of the restaurant is up against a small canal,... More

The first thing we saw about the Worthmuhle was a sign at the end of the road saying the road doesn't look very nice but the trip is worth it. They weren't wrong. When we visited there were major roadworks being conducted and 75% of the roadway was dug up. When we got to it, the restaurant was a well... More

I have been here several times and never been disappointed. The athmosphere is awsome and the food is delicious. This time we ordered a "wild plate" which we liked a lot. Earlier we have tried differensiert sort of "snitzel" and everytime AS good AS it van be 😊😊👍

What a great location and a wonderful historic building to have dinner in. My meal was very good, but slightly over cooked. Wild boar and venison fillets on a skewer. Very nice, but if cooked perfectly, would be a five start meal.

Good regional food and local brew. The place is atmospheric. After we were seated a large party came and they where served before us. We shared a salad for starters but was not given 2 plates nor new cutlery for the main course. The waiters also forgot to say goodbye when we left.

Probably the best place to get traditional German food in Goslar. Their serviettenknödel are delicious as was their duck. Kind waiter. Bring time with you since it takes a little while.

Returned here after a first visit 9 years ago, and fond (perhaps over romanticised) memories. We ate outside this time with group of 7 of us. Menu pretty well as it was last time, majoring on local game dishes. Had beers (be clear on what type you want - many locals brew their own or use local micro breweries, and... More
