Service was appropriate and friendly, food tasty and prepared as ordered. What struck me, however, was the bartender. He talked about the variety of their house brews, and helpfully poured me shot -glasses of each (gratis). He displayed his expert knowledge with humor and professionalism. Of course, he convinced me to buy more

Classic German cousin, great homebred beer, really god food and great service! Alltghough the waitress was a vegetarian she advised us perfectly😙 A bit pricy but worth it. Pays 73 euros for 5 people with food and 2 beers for each.

Their own beer was very good, tasty and fresh. The service was good even if they were busy. The food was below par, but it was our own fault partly. One shouldn't order "Surf and Turf" at a German brewery restaurant.

Malzers is a great place for a home-brewed beer and a variety of food choices. The basement has a character that is unique and takes you back centuries in time.

We went here for dinner, but found out it was also a brewery, so we had their great beer. Food was local German food and all of it was very good. The service was exceptional and our server went out of his way to make sure everything was great. We speak no German, and our waiter Jens was very accommodating... More

Unfortunately I waited until the end of my time in Lueneburg to try out this restaurant, otherwise I would have visited much more frequently! The food was delicious and the menu had lots of traditional German dishes, plus many others. The menu is large with lots of options, so everyone should be able to find something tasty to eat.

The entrance had a stack of sacks. Must have been needed to make beer. The place was fairly full but we found a table on the 2nd level. Being lunchtime I had a shandy with my fish. Quite loud and large portions

I'm allergic, can't eat anything containing milk products. The only food they could provide was potatoes with salsa or green salad without anything else !

An old brewery, now converted into a restaurant. Really quaint place, with lots of seating in all kinds of nookes and crannies dotted throughout the building, on many different levels, including a basement, which adds to the atmosphere. The menu is extensive, with many different food choices. Fairly reasonable in price as well. The food itself is very good and... More
