We had a dinner in this hotel’s fine restaurant. It was traditional Swiss German fare and lots of it. I ordered the ganzer portion of Wiener Schnitzel without realising it did not mean large portion but actually two whole servings. I did my best to much hilarity. I did learn a salutary lesson. The service and food was very good.... More

Called for snack from Kleine Karte in afternoon. Should have guessed what might follow after 4 pieces of bread arrived in a plastic bag. Two of us had the same, effectively paying 21CHF for a poor quality can of soup. Terrible, no excuses for this - go elsewhere.

My husband and I shared our 4-course dinner. We had deer carpaccio, garden salad, fondue and veal (recommended by our server). We had a bottle of wine from the Rhine Valley and asked if they would allow us to bring it for dinner. The manager told me they would charge a corkage fee which turned out to be 15 Euro.... More

Stayed at the hotel, ate at the restaurant. Was underwhelmed by the cheese fondue, but generally thought the food was fine, filling, but pricey. Then again, it is Switzerland, so what would one expect?!

Saturday evenings in ski resorts can be a nightmare if you don't book ahead, but we found 3 Koenige & Post to be very accommodating, despite being exceptionally busy. Seated in the main dining area, we were treated to exceptional service as we tucked into a traditional meat fondue (my absolute favourite dish) accompanied by a lovely bottle of Swiss... More

Half elegant restaurant and half friendly bar. They serve great traditional German/Swiss fare. Very traditional and attentive waiters. I had the wiener-schnitzel and it was good, but far more than I could eat. My wife had a fish dish and she was very pleased. Note: the restaurant is part of a hotel. Parking can be challenge, you may want to... More

Dinner for two on a hot summer evening. I had the pork knuckle with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut and the misses the pork schnitzel with vegetables and a side of Rosti. Our waiter did not speak English so a second came over and was very gracious to help us with our selections. Overall the meal was very good, portions sufficient... More

Even when staying at other hotels, I make it a point to have dinner at 3 Koenige. The food quality is very good. The desert menu is attractive. Just as important, as Andermatt grows into something different than its past, a dinner at 3 Koenige harkens back to a day when Andermatt was even more special.

Bit on the expensive side but so is all of Switzerland. The food we had was tasty and well presented.
