I really enjoyed large size schnitzel, one of the best schnitzels I have had. Kids menu includes many delicious options. View from the table was fantastic. At the end, we went there twice.

I saw lots of people ordering fondue so if you like that this is probably a good place for that. We don't eat cheese (at least very limited amounts) so this was out for us. I know...this is Switzerland. They also have steaks of horse, pork, and beef. To start, the bread and herb butter was very good (mainly because... More

The Vegetarian dishes were disappointing, because it was basically sidedishes of a meat dish. Not a lot of creativity there. The service had a rocky start and became acceptable through the evening. The food was nothing special. Average for Swiss standards. I would recommend it, if you want a Schnitzel and some fries for a standard price.

Decided to try here based on the good rating on trip advisor. It was good decision. The food was tasty, not exceptional but good hearty evening meal. Service was very friendly and attentive without being overpowering. Would recommend for a relaxed casual evening meal but is not what I would term 'up market'.

Simply bravo. A fair hearly mountain kitchen from top ingridients. And service is so sweet, like you are visiting your uncle and aunt, really. Portions were enourmous, take care! Plenty of choice for vegan too.

Had several evening meals there. The staff is very friendly, experienced and familiar. Always up for a laugh and light joking if they sense its appropriate. They are very welcoming and forthcoming. Food is very tasty and looks very nicely done/prepared. Pricing is certainly not on the cheap side, however, I'd say well-adjusted for that you are getting. The view... More

Well worth dropping in here for lunch as we did. Beautiful views and really good food. We both had schnitzel and fries (I opted for the small portion, which would still have been enough for 2!). Good German beers and really nice staff. Only downside is we sat outside and people smoke, it is filthy and smells bad make the... More

They have really good lamb on a hot stone and also steaks on a hot stone. I ordered a steak not on the hot stone because you got more for the price but my wife ordered a lamb on the hot stone which was really good. The beer is fresh and the service was attentive and came to refill the... More

Had dinner here based on suggestion from our hotel - stunning views, decent food with a good selection but the whole experience was soured by a grumpy, too bossy maître d'. Clearly did not grasp the notion of the client being the most important person in the restaurant and certainly not a reflection of what we have seen elsewhere throughout... More

Although we weren't staying at the Adler, we had dinner one evening and had a really good meal, very high quality with great service and a fantastic outlook up the valley.
