Back again for yet another birthday!! What a wonderfull lunch. We were here on sunday the 23rd of april for a roast and we were not disappointed, the beef just melted in my mouth, and the roasties we're lush. The whole family enjoyed the day, and my mum was really happy as they now do a sticky toffee pudding!! Looking... More

We are regular customers at the woodborough inn and Saturday night was exceptionally high standards of service and food for a very busy local pub! I had the lovely ox cheeks which were great and my wife had the monkfish thai curry which was divine. Thanks again to all the lovely staff we shall see you soon!

We have been eating at The Woodborough since moving to the area 17 years ago and have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately something has gone wrong as we found both the service and food quality well below par. In addition the food has become expensive for what it is i.e. £11 for a Sunday lunch and circa £6 for... More

Overpriced and the food was awful, especially the cheap frozen chips. On the plus side the staff were very nice

Visited on Easter Sunday as we were cycling the Strawberry Line(less than 2mins away). Six of us including two kids, a few Sunday roasts (all good quality meat, great selection of vegetables and plenty of all). I had the chilli which was very good. Staff and service were excellent through out our visit. We booked in advance and the place... More

Went to woodborough for lunch today. Haven't been there for years. Two kids, me and my parents. Had a fantastic time. Friendly service. Great quality food, much better than normal pub grub. Not cheap but worth every penny. Will be back again.

My husband and I have eaten many times in the Woodborough over the years but not recently. We called in for old times sake for lunch on Good Friday. Our first observation was that it was almost empty, which would not have been the case previously. It was odd because when I phoned to book I was told that there... More

Starters small - but hey, that's starters. Mains large and good quality, desserts beautifully presented. All reflected in price, not a cheap dive. However, waiting times were too long. Over an hour before we got mains (and no one had a starter). Interestingly, bar fas full of diners, while restaurant (i.e. booked tables) was empty!! Had to ask for attendance... More

Hi, thanks for reviewing your experience here. We are sorry you felt the starters were small, we are confused though because you say you did not have any? It was a busy night when you came on Wednesday- in fact another 7 tables were in the restaurant and we had many more walk-in diners in the rest of the pub... More

Hello, we are unsure where you paid such high prices for your drinks? £2 for tap made squash?? We charge 50p for a glass of squash and have not altered this price for years now. We also have no way of altering our tills to change the prices here on site. Perhaps you visited another establishment? We have messaged you... More

The menu offered a wide choice and plenty... More
