We had some soup here! It was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to see a proper Irish place to chill in. I loved the decor and the vibe also. The toilets were spotless. I would recommend it to everyone!

We had to wait for a table, which is usually a good thing, however, not on this occasion. Main course was distinctly average, dessert can only be described as a catastrophe. I had been offered fruit crumble, what followed was tantamount to slop, not a...More

The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant was attractive and clean with paintings by local artists for sale on the walls. We were brought a carafe of water and our order quickly taken. We both chose the lemon sole and were told...More

Description
Our restaurant is a casual place in which to get honest food in a warm and welcoming setting. Lunch is served from 12:30 every day Tuesday - Sunday. From 10:30am onwards our traditional Irish scones are fresh out of the oven - along with our fresh tarts and other diet crushing desserts. We have a strong association with the local farming community and are committed to local suppliers for meat, dairy, fruit, vegetable and other produce. All are welcome & we are wheelchair accessible. Looking forward to welcoming you and yours to The Forge.
