Went in for lunch this afternoon after hearing about the two courses for £10. I went for the Brie with chilli jam to start and the pie for mains. The Brie was to die for and the pie was just as good! Portion sizes were...More

Went for a quiet lunch. Ordered burgers. Generous sized portions, but burgers were bland and tasteless. Disappointed.

After numerous visits over the years where I have been met by friendly and courteous staff and seen the pub full of life and customers, today was the complete and utter opposite. The landlady was more concerned about containing her small army of children and...More

We have been having Sunday roast at the pub for years. Went this Sunday after not going for a while for health reasons and was very disappointed. Gone has the lovely feel and busyness of the place, and gone has the traditional pub Sunday roast....More

New owners who didn't understand the popularity of the previous owners and didn't build on that. Instead they were both disparaging about them (which has upset locals) and changed what is on offer. It's very sad.
