Great meal and beer - would come back again for an early dinner. Best meal we had in Big Bear. Nice little place to purchase German items like muesli, mustards and sauerkraut.

Great food with quite the wait in line to order and then again for the food, also so crowded that trying to get a table to eat was difficult. So come prepared with your patience for the ordering process and finding somewhere to eat. The...sandwiches were delicious, pretzels were ok, wish they were more freshly prepared and not just bagged in the case. The apple strudel was mediocre, just canned pie filling inside not fresh apples. Opt for the made to order items and skip the premade stuff in the case!More

Decided to pop in for lunch, as we have nothing like this where we live. Great service, lunch was really good. We sat on the patio to enjoy our meals of chicken jalapeño sausage and knackwurst. Good sauerkraut!

Great location in Big Bear Village. Food choices/combo plates with great prices. A good lunch sppt. Best prices in the Village for imported draft beers. Worth a stop. Would prefer the sauerkraut cold vs warmed up though.

Very cool place with lots of deli sandwiches and sausages. We had the Black Forest Ham sandwich and a beer, it's kind of high priced but delicious and large, enough for two senior citizens anyway! Plan to go again soon and try the sausages.

Great German deli and market. Sandwiches were yummy and prepared fast. Staff were very friendly. Lots of fun German beer, snacks, sweets, sausages, and deli meats and cheeses to take home, too.

I'm a sucker for German delis. I've been eating German cold cuts for more than sixty years, both in Germany and in various parts of the US. My wife found this place online, and we stopped in today and bought an assortment of cold cuts...to take home. I am fond of the cold cuts from a NYC producer called Schaller and Weber. It is what I grew up eating. The products we sampled today were on par with those S&W products. If I were staying longer, I would certainly go back, and during future visits I will probably get a several week supply to take home with me in a cooler. The service was incredibly friendly and it was pleasant to speak with a gentleman who I assume is the owner in German. It added to the experience. The range of products available was not as extensive as it would be in a typical German deli pre-Covid. There was plenty to try, and I am enjoying that experience. It is quite possible that Covid has forced a reduction in inventory, or that I visited just before a delivery from the actual producer of the cold cuts and sausages that they sell. If I am back in the area again in the future, this is a place I will visit early on, and just before returning home. Highly recommended.More

Hi, we stopped in there during the last snow storm. We sampled some of their food. It was AMAZING. The bratwurst and frankfurters were amazing. The liverwurst was the best I had. The cutest, nicest couple. This is a must see old school deli.

We love german foods and they are hared to find. Old german deli is the best we've had! Excellent quality and taste, you can't go wrong. Our favorite was the all veal wiestwurst. Great strudel too!

We had the bratwurst with curry, and I really liked it! The potato salad was fantastic. And I had the black forest ham sandwich which was piled high, and with Swiss cheese. Everything was so tasty and we were able to eat outside at the...tables.More

Not sure why they are not open the hours listed. Tried 2 days in a row to go within window of open hours, but sadly closed. Not sure maybe a family emergency or something but no sign on door. So suggest calling before going. Looked...great from window!More
