Really cosy family run pub. We saw the new year in here with the friendly locals all topped off with vodka jelly shots, a free buffet and lots of laughs

My friend and I stumbled on this little gem for New Year’s Eve. Really great atmosphere, everyone knew each other and they were very friendly. Great family run place, good for a drink and a laugh.

Nipped in a couple if times while staying in the village. We didn't eat but the food and atmosphere were great. Went in in the middle of a big rugby game and it was packed the people couldn't have been more friendly

Visited the pub at lunch time today. After a walk from the train station through the beautiful village with its knitted decorations we arrived at the pub, lunch was good with home made food. Very small eating area advisable to book.More

We didn't bring our dog with us, but we did see other dogs in the bar area. I'm not sure about the restaurant though
