Balanced menu, schnitzel, fish
Salads Above all there are seasonal daily dishes, eg sponge goulash, wild etc.
Nice service, everything runs like clockwork. Well attended.
Would recommend not stopping until the afternoon.

We had a lovely lunch after a walk to the waterfall. Best Schnitzel I’ve had diring our stay in Austria. The blackcurrant strudel was delightful and the service most attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

We only stopped for a drink while exploring the Kesserfall gorge, it was very pleasant and the staff were helpful. We enjoyed the homemade cold drinks that we were served. The food looked good but we didn't have any.

First the waitress offered us a table, but 2 minutes later we were almost insulted because it was already reserved. Then the waiter came back to us with "Do you want to eat now?"🤷♀️
We ordered anyway and waited 1.5 hours!!! for the food!
When we asked if it would take much longer, we were told 10 minutes - but we got the food in 40 minutes. We didn't get an apology or a smile after that.
The food was perfectly fine, but the service was terrible! What a pity.

We got there for a trip at "Kesserfall" and we discovered this restaurant located just at the beginning of the walk.
So we decieded to have lunch in there and I have to tell that we ate a wonderful "Semriacherschnitzel" and a classical "Wienerschnitzel".
Both of them were delightful especially the Semriacherschnitzel.
The quality - price ratio was really good. The restaurant offers also some river/lake fish.
If You're nearby, go in there, you won't regret.
