We dined twice(dinner) as well as enjoyed their pastries several mornings. I found the dishes well presented and inspired in many cases. Michelle our server and Guido the owner took great care of us. It is really nice to find a restaurant of this high quality at very reasonable prices for this part of this part of the world. If you find yourself in the area give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Great service and excellent food!!! Misty was our hostess and was fantastic to talk with and took very good care of us. The owner is Italian and offers authentic Italian while maintaining reasonable prices for customers. Great food, staff, and atmosphere!!! Thanks from Chris and Katherine!!!

Guido from peace and plenty hotel restaurant, along with his chef Mattia, bring from Milan their much needed diverse culinary skills from different cultures to Exuma. I had the lamb kebab wrap, but prepared keto style without the wrap. It came with a yummy yogurt dipping sauce and the whole meal was fantastic! I could’ve eaten too, not because the portion size wasn’t generous, but because I just wanted to keep eating it it was that good! The café has a beautiful little patio and serves breakfast and lunch, dinners are currently catered meals dropped at your door with choices of packages including Mexican, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, Asian, and locally sourced fare.

Not really sure why the attitude is so bad here, but it started when they opened about 15 minutes late and seemed mad that they had to actually work. They were very rude about where customers sat, saying “no you can’t sit there, sit at that table! You at the other table!” They made guests sit specifically at certain tables.
Even though I was first to be seated, 3 other tables of larger groups that came in after me had their orders taken first. Waitress hardly acknowledged me and didn’t seem enthused at all. Waited over 35 minutes for my food. They never once came by to check if I needed more water or how the food was.
The food was great, I had the avocado Benedict and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was just ok, a bit better than a keurig coffee from the hotel room.
They do charge a VAT tax and a 15% automatic gratuity, which may be why the service is such crap. Why make any effort at service when the tip is included? Then they have a “suggested tip” on the sales bill on top of that? Yeah, NO. Will never leave a tip for horrible service.
Will not be back here again, due to the service here. Already told my coworkers about it and they will be avoiding it too. Spend your money where people genuinely love what they do and appreciate you being there. This place is NOT it.

We stayed in the Exumas for two weeks and contacted Guido and Chef Mattia prior to our arrival to set up their catered meals to our villa. Guido was easy to communicate with and Chef Mattia contacted us prior to our visit with a sample menu. We had them cater food to our villa for five nights and each night Chef Mattia cooked a different cuisine - even Indian food! We were able to enjoy our time at the house and get straight out of the pool to the dinner table. You can tell from the moment you meet him that he has a passion for what he does. He brought his own plates every night and they were themed with the cuisine he was cooking. Everything was plated beautifully and the food was delicious! There was plenty of food for us to have dinner that night and some leftovers for lunch the next day. We were impressed with how he handled the limitations of the produce and groceries that we experienced when we went to the store. He was able to find star anise and cardamom spices to make an authentic Indian meal. They were always kind and helpful - and they did all the clean up prior to leaving us to eat. Lastly, we had a in house prepared meal one night which was the best meal we ate on the island. Chef Mattia's seafood risotto was unforgettable.
We also visited the cafe frequently for coffee and breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was fast. They also had several pastries which we indulged in frequently.
We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend both the cafe and the catered meals to anyone visiting the Exumas.

We were immediately directed to the Driftwood Cafe’ by fellow cruisers at the dinghy dock upon our arrival to Georgetown in the Exumas. It was simply wonderful! Misty waited on us and was welcoming and friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. The lush patio was romantic and shielded from the street activity on the other side. We would highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Georgetown.

Loved this place, great ambience, friendly service, good food - in fact it had such a good feeling about it that we went back for lunch.
Breakfast: My wife and I shared a delicious breakfast sandwich and a lovely lemon danish accompanied by a latte and cappuccino. Service from the wonderful Misty was just right, as she managed to juggle a number of customers at the same time yet remain attentive to all of us.
Lunch: given the windy and occasionally rainy day we stayed in Georgetown and found ourselves back at Driftwood and back in the capable hands of Misty, this time for pizza, salad and beer/wine. Pizza was very tasty and generously portioned with just one slice defeating my wife.
Thoroughly recommend.

Our lunch at Driftwood Cafe was one of the best meals we had on the island! The food is great quality and fresh. We spent 6 days on Exuma and although the “cracked” (aka fried) fish/chicken/conch was amazing, sometimes you just crave something fresh and green and Driftwood definitely delivered. We got the bruschetta with side salad and the club sandwich, both were amazing but I have to say the club sandwich was the best club we have ever had. We actually ordered a second one to go because it was so good! Highly recommend Driftwood for lunch (I believe they are only open until 3pm) if you are in the Georgetown area!

The only Restaurant we found in Great exuma That served coffe after 11am. The Bananabread is amazing there and the location just next to minns water Sports is Perfect. Also the Little Garden where you can ist outside is super cute. Prices are normal compared to hole Bahamas 🇧🇸 And its very delicious
You Need to check it out def. :)

Adorable restaurant in the heart of Georgetown. The food was fresh and the service was excellent. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Kids loved the homemade pizza, the lamb kebabs were a hit and they swapped out fresh conch in the crab wrap for me. We would definitely come back here again.

best food, best atmosphere, best espresso, best people.
Food is very healthy curated in every details starting from the ingredients ending with the way they serve the delicious food.
Waiter are prepared and quick.
Also they can provide private catering food and food delivery

My family has enjoyed breakfast all week at this amazing cafe! If you like eggs Benedict you will be surprised by how many choices there are. The owner is always onsite welcoming guests and ensuring the service and food are excellent. The facilities are welcoming and very clean. If you are in Georgetown, Exuma you must try this restaurant.

We headed to Peace & Plenty to have lunch last week…luckily for us they were closed and I popped my head into Berkshire Real Estate offices and they recommended this place. And boy were we happy…there were 6 of us and all have nothing but 5 stars for this place! The Niçoise salad was out of this world delicious, as were the clubs and my husbands crab salad wrap. We bought a loaf of their homemade bread and enjoyed it for toast the next 4 mornings…best homemade bread we all ever had!

This is a quaint little restaurant across from the Peace and Plenty Hotel. It has an air-conditioned inside dining room as well as outdoor seating. There is a nice selection of food for breakfast and lunch. Their pizza is relatively thick but very tasty. We love this place!

We were a party of four, with different choices, but each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was charming and attentive and we were served in good time. I can highly recommend - best meal we have had on the island this year - and our meals were hot when served (something unusual in Exuma). The wine was excellent also!
