It was a real blast to visit JB's 57 Diner. The entire inside is decorated in 1950's memorabilia and scale model cars of that era. The menu is extensive and includes everything from breakfast items to dinner entrees. The soup was home made, and I enjoyed their version of French dip roast beef. The grilled cheese sandwich was very good and everything was served hot. Generous portions and very good table service.

Loved it! Service so great, food was sooo great, way to much lol needed boxes! We were so glad we stopped, the best part of our day!! And we had a great day!!

Food was decent but not outstanding. Reasonable but service was slow. Menu options were good but wouldn't be a place I would frequent regularly.

we WERE. past tense. customers of yours. my wife can't have carbs. so in lieu of fries with her eggs she requested a slice of tomato. the older waitress said very nasty. oh no we charge you for that and I couldn't care less what yu do with the fries. left immediately and now having lunch up at road at. Lake Hurst. diner. with a substitute. slice of tomato. with out standing service. not with a very nasty server. that you employ. by the way. lakehurst diner very busy. your. nasty. diner. was empty. obviously you are desperate for servers. to hire this. should be out of work server. good luck. good. riddance. we now come here twice a week instead of your diner with very sub par. waitresses

Waitress got in my face and was rude and snarky when I requested that my hot water with lemon be placed in a mug instead of a plastic cold beverage cup. She tried to be nicer after that but definitely the damage was done. Ordered sweet potato hash with eggs. Tasted nothing like sweet potatoes just a heavy vinegar taste. Everyone tried it and agrees it was totally inedible. My husband had the chicken fried steak with biscuit gravy. My husband said it was so bad. Horrible flavor to the meat and the biscuit gravy had no sausage and tasted like paste. We would have sent it all back but after the aggressive response about the hot water we didn’t dare. We paid and left without eating any of it. Took it home for the dogs

Cute establishment in a 50's theme. Patty melt was fantastic. Really impressed to see hand sanitizer on all tables. I travel this country on business and have never seen that at any other restaurant. I will definitely be back and please keep up the sanitizer feature. Thanks

Clean restaurant, Large very clean restroom. Fast friendly service, good menu selection. excellent diner food. The 50's decor and theme is well done throughout. Handicapped parking available and a curb dip to allow wheel chairs. Was able to use a walker/rollator easily enough. Not sure how well a wide wheel chair would manage.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant and it was delicious. The portions were more than enough for one person. Atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing, would recommend a visit to JB’s 57 Diner.......

Service was good. Food was good. Ambience is unique & cute. Parking is easy (outdoor strip mall). Told the Manager he needs to order BREAD FROM BROOKLYN !! 😊

Food, service, atmosphere! Loved it all. Our breakfasts were ginormous sized and delicious! I loved all the old favorites listed in the menu (that I don’t eat anymore) like “chipped beef and pork roll”. It was an adventure just to read the menu. Only precaution is the floors are slippery when it rains so walk carefully. My husband almost slipped hard.
