Our first time here and we really enjoyed the Sunday roast. Great quality and a nice range of starters and mains with the usual trimmings. Service excellent and very good value. Busy place.

Nice pub with cosy interior - dark atmospheric old bar area with benches and log burner and a more modern restaurant area next door. We had a nice lunch, the Cawl and Tagine were lovely - salt marsh lamb. Large garden and great view - looks like it has children's play area and an aviary. Friendly and attentive staff -... More

My son, daughter and I decided to visit here as we have been several times before and always had wonderful food and service, today was not one of those days! We managed to get a table as it was quite busy and there was a photographer guy there doing shots for a magazine on the Brittania Inn. And there I... More

Arrived here on a Friday night for a family meal, had tried the King Arthur's but it was rammed, and the Britannia was suggested by my boss as a country pub like the ones we used to visit in West Sussex. This place was very busy too, but we were offered a table in the restaurant without any issues after... More

We visited the Britannia Inn recently whilst looking for a nice pub in Gower. Parked around the back and saw an aviary with a good number of birds caged in this tiny space. Why anyone feels the need to cage birds in an aviary is beyond me and seems wholly archaic. Didn't want to give my custom to a pub... More

It seems like an authentic busy village pub with a loyal local clientele which has managed to bolt on a gastropub as well...without busting the original business model. Our lunch was properly good and excellent value. We all had three courses and all agonised about what not to gave, as much as what to have. Meat was good, fish was... More

We pop in for a quick lunch, and we were warmly welcomed, the food was excellent and so was the Pub. When we next visit the Gower we will make a Bee Line for this Pub for and evening meal, as what we had was excellent, Nice Log burning fire in the corner made the place feel warm and snugg

Booked a table in the restaurant for lunch New Years Day. When we arrived we decided to change our booking to sit in the bar instead as the atmosphere was so cosy with the log fire crackling away. Choice of bar meals, specials or the set price restaurant menu. We plumped for bar meals - fish & chips and the... More
