Decided to get a Chinese from this restaurant as it was always ok and was very handy to get to. Wish I hadn't bothered! The actual vegetables, sauce, rice and chips were all nice enough, the chicken was a joke completely inedible. I'm not even sure it was chicken. I'm quite sure reading the reviews that the customers sitting in, in the... More

My wife and I dined in the rose garden last Sunday night. On arrival we were met by a delightful waitress. The food and service were absolutely sublime so much so that we returned last night -Wednesday. The food service and ambience all met the high standard set on Sunday. Five big stars for the Rose Garden.

Used to be a really good restaurant, but its gotten shabby and the food is no longer reliably good. It can be, but its somewhat hit and miss. Service is also hit and miss although there are still some very good staff.

I have eaten food from this restaurant for years but had not used it during the last eighteen months. I got a Salt & Chilli King Prawn carry-out with fried noodles recently and we judged it to be delicious. I note unfavourable comments related to the same dish...but I can only say on this occasion it did not disappoint. In... More

Got a takeaway for three (£19.80) and it was an unpleasant dining experience. The taste of the salt & chilli king prawn and the salt & chilli chicken was very poor. The oily satay chicken was merely poor and greasy. The chilli heat was cheap acrid heat in all three so it was just unappetising bordering on inedible and not... More

Visited to order a takeaway. Large selection on menu. Order was taken quickly by friendly team member. Plenty of seating while I waited. Food was great to arrive. Portions were large and food was okay - not the best Chinese I've ever eaten but definitely not the worst!

I live in Newey and it's very hard to find a Chinese sit in restaurant. So we stumbled across this one and tried it out. This Restaurant is a very nice place to sit in & Takeaway. I took my family here for a birthday party meal and the waitress was very kind, She took us to our seats and... More

The food in Rose Garden was okay, not of great quality as the chicken in honey chilli sauce was dry and there wasn't enough rice. The waitress we had wasn't the best. She got confused at the orders we gave her and she told me boyfriend that she "hates people like him who are awkward when they order", just because... More
