Lovely meal in a nice warm cosy setting. Would recommend. Will be attending friends wedding next year and will stay over, looking forward to a return visit.

Excellent cuisine. Dined and breakfasted here for 4 nights, and the food was exceptional as was the service.l

My Husband and I called in for some lunch one afternoon with our baby girl. The staff was so welcoming to us and made us all feel right at home. We all had a delicious meal and value for money. we definitely will be back for another meal.x

Can't think of anything positive to say: food not good but expensive, service bad (on entering the otherwise empty restaurant we got the "oh no, customers" look from a member of the waiting staff). Lack of customers at a long established restaurant is always a bad sign: only one other pair of people ate in the restaurant while we were... More

To eat at this hotel is to partake of true Irish hospitality. The welcome is warm, the food is simple but excellent and the helpings are enormous. The beef (steak or otherwise) is definitely the highlight, but the fish is also very well presented and delicious. Just don't expect to eat for 2 days after dining here!

We had an evening meal here as a group. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was average, but over-piled onto the plate. You would not go hungry here!

I have just returned from a Northern Ireland break to visit family. Lunch at the Greenvale Hotel was an absolute treat. The building itself was impressive, beautiful with flowers and grounds to match. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a friendly bar man and pointed to the direction of the restaurant. This comprises two floors and we... More

I was staying in the hotel on business, so decided to eat in the restaurant on the first night. It took 15 minutes to get served (3 tables occupied incl mine), and only after what appeared to be an off-duty member of staff eating at another table with his family prompted the staff. Ordered food and a beer. The beer... More

With the new decor, Greenvale's delicious food is now served in an equally lovely setting. You can choose between the bar and the more formal dining room, there really is something for everybody. Waiters and bar staff always provide great service with some banter on the side!

I had a fab family dinner here for my son's first holy communion. From start to finish this place was outstanding. Staff very helpful and friendly. The food was gorgeous with plenty of choice to suit everyone's requirements with Calvary. Highly recommend you give this place a visit!
