This place used to be excellent but as with so many similar ventures, when it expanded, it got worse. Food is ok but everything is, to my mind, overblown - scones & tray-bakes are huge, ice-cream comes in incredible rainbow colours - all a tad...More
I like onion, but there's enough already in the hot dishes without more (which I always left) mixed in with the leaves. This avoids waste, and saves having to pick the onion out of the leaves - great move. Quality of food excellent.
Love sitting in the window people watching. Great place for lunch or a cuppa. Traditional home made dishes and bakery. Not cheap but also not extortionately priced. Great atmosphere
