I enjoyed my meal however the restaurant was not as expected. The decor is very dated and we where seated right beside another party it almost felt as though we where dinning together. The menu seems to have a lot of choice however quite a few items where off the menu when we visited, this can be forgiven as it... More

Had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening. Hadn't reserved a table but we were seated immediately. I had a tasty goat's cheese tartlet and friend had roast beef dinner. We shared the apple cake desert served with custard and ice cream. We both enjoyed our meal and service was efficient. I woul, however, prefer to have desert served on... More

We visited here tonight. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. I had informed them that one of our party would be in a wheelchair so when we arrived they had a portable ramp ready and helped us over the small front step and same again as we left. Nice ambience, good food and friendly staff.

Went with great friends and had the most delicious ribeye steak. Overall the staff were attentive and courteous and we had an overall delightful experience with a little surprise for desert. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely meal, this place never fails to serve up fantastic food. I would have preferred to sit upstairs so will ask the next time. Nice ambience, relaxed and great service. Well done.

Had a very pleasant meal with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was of a high standard. We ate downstairs and, on first impression, I was a little concerned as the decor is quite dated (circa 1950), however, I need not have been concerned. The food and service made the evening... More

Have drove past this place on numerous occasions and have said I would like to try it out as it always looks busy. Got my chance to go here tonight (Friday) and I can tell you it is no wonder it always looks busy. Decor and style is beautiful. Staff very pleasant on arrival and throughout the evening. Had the... Brewer's house never disappoints. Every time we go I try and order something new and every time each dish has been nicer than the last. Recommend to everyone, staff so friendly, food amazing and chef is very talented

Have eaten here a few times and have always been delighted with the service and the food. I find the tables near the bar can be a little noisy if you are acoustically challenged but upstairs, or near the fire downstairs, works better for those of us with more 'mature' ears. The food is delicious - beautifully cooked and presented.... More
