Having moved over to Scotland a number of years ago, we are sure to visit the Harbour Bar every time we are back to see family. Staff are great and other than at the Guinness brewery in Dublin, I doubt you will get a finer pint of Guinness anywhere else on the island of Ireland...bold claim, but it is always... More

Food average but service so slow. Was told 30 minutes to wait for table but was actually an hour . meal was OK but nothing special. The worse part was queuing 45 minutes to get a dessert . I will definitely not be back

Nice pints, excellent G&T. Friendly barman. Really good atmosphere. Closes too early, but that's the law in Northern Ireland unfortunately.

Visited Harbour Bistro for food after coming up on Trip Advisor it was 2nd best place to eat in Portrush. The food, service and cost was terrible. Priced at £11.95 for just a fish we thought it must be some size. A half portion on the plate with a small spoonful of peas. It was soggy and under-cooked. Chips were... More

In the front and small back bar of the original bar. Warm, friendly, couldn't be more helpful. Ask and they will try and accommodate your request.

The place is always busy and I reckon it's more because it's were most people wait while there waiting for a table in the wine bar. We had a few drinks there and it wasn't much to write home about. I reckon they need more seating too.

Buzzing as always but absolutely packed as it was Easter Saturday & fine as long as a table is not a necessity. Great live music by Steven & Johnny and the Prosecco helped the time pass quickly. Followed by a meal at the Wine Bar. Our teenagers love it but maybe more difficult to pass the time with younger children.

There is a leather chair to die for in the Harbour Bar upstairs the type of chair that you could sit all day at and look out over the beach and be lovely and warm beside the roaring fire.

Came here last weekend with another couple. Having heard great reviews we thought we'd give it a chance. The weather was great so the place was packed. About 15 min wait (which we didn't mind) Upon entering, you are given a number and told to wait round the corner at the bar. They then call your name and number over... More

On a special night out in Portrush without kids. Tried Neptune and prawn but told table for two not a available for 2 hrs 15 min. The staff checked with harbour bistro and we were told wait would be 1 HR 15. Therefore we thought we would try it as didn't want to wait too long. Arrived at harbour bar... More
