Visited for lunch and had a really nice sandwich lunch and coffee. Quality was great and well presented and tasted really good. Will return again next time we visit Portadown

This is a bit of an institution in the area and has earned it. Simon has a well earned reputation for excellent food. You wont get better bread in N Ireland, its that simple. The deli and almost all the food served here are excellent and locally produced ingredients used. Its just......missing little things now and again. Service...could be better... More

I've been in the yellow door in lisburn and it is pretty much the same and that's a good thing. Food good, service good. It's a good premium choice.

We were a group of 8 out for breakfast. Between us we tried many different options on the menu - significantly no-one enthused and at best people shared experiences of great breakfasts elsewhere in town. My full breakfast, despite the mouthwatering description, was tasteless. The brown sauce served in ramekin dishes was runny with strong taste of vinegar definitely not... More

You can't fault the quality and taste of food here......always a buzz. Truth be told it is in a class of its own for Portadown and wider afield. I like my coffee and have a few favourites....but nowhere I've been does a better Americano.

Had lunch today with a friend and we were both disappointed. We had scampi and the homemade burger. The portion size was smaller than expected and frozen chips were served....I just get the feeling that the yellow door has plateaued and we certainly will not be returning. This has been a favourite for a long time ...but we will be... More

I have mixed feelings about the yellow door in several respects the quality and variety of food is good.....but it is just too expensive for what you get Restaurant itself is actually quite claustrophobic with a tight access passage up past the counter which is very difficult to negotiate with people trying to pay their bills. I think the yellow... More

Far too expensive for quality of food. £5.25 for a salad which consisted of chicken lettuce snd 4 baby boils! £2.25 for a small bottle of tropicana orange juice! Wont be back.
