Had meal here on Easter Tuesday and despite being extremely busy, were shown to a table promptly. Comfortable surroundings and excellent service from our waitress, Rebecca. Nothing was a problem to her at all. Food arrived piping hot and included sauce, tobacco onions, side salad and a choice of side order. Very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend... More

So close to perfect, arrival great, hospitality great, food fantastic, room looking great, so what happened, noise and being wakened at around 8:00, ok you cannot legislate for building works, but you can make sure and check that you allocate rooms that will not suffer from noise and trucks early morning, no way was this place full so why give... Having eaten here years ago and can't remember anything about the food, had recently heard good reports so decided to try again. Walking in the food smell was amazing and mouth watering. Menu is quite plain with no fancy mucking about. The seafood chowder as a starter is sensational. Our mains were the burger, steak and the plaice. All fantastic.... More

I am currently enjoying by far the best meal of this trip, the chowder was a little taste of heaven and the roast cod reminded me of my childhood, the type of food my grandma used to make, a true taste of Ireland. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.what a gem to find.

Staff were efficient. All our meals were good. Wraps tasty, all meals hot and seemed well cooked. The chips and skinny fries were piping hot, crispy and not greasy, just as we like them. We have been before, mostly successful. Couldn't fault on this occasion at all. If food always at this standard they will have plenty of returning diners.
