Had a lovely dinner with my cousins. We sat downstairs in the bar area but restaurant upstairs is also nice. We shared the soy salmon starter and tempura courgettes. Both were excellent. I had the plaice and the others had the poussin and both were...More

My husband and I dined here last week and really enjoyed ourselves. Every dish we ordered was delicious, in particular the whitebait and sole. All washed down with a great G&T and wine. A small thing but I really enjoyed and appreciated the salad accompaniments...More

Situated in a beautiful little city, this restaurant is a good find. The chips were very good, the meat just a little over cooked (not blue as requested) and a little tough. Wine good.

French onion soup and the croque monsieur with a British twist with an ice latte and coffee. Unpretentious, good service, great decor, reasonable price. We ate in the bar, not the restaurant. I would definitely return here if I were in Bradford again. People say...More

We had dinner on a Saturday night. Lovely old building with restaurant divided into several rooms which didn't detract from the atmosphere which was good. Attractive but unfussy decor, with tables nicely spaced apart. Lovely cocktails served to table, plus there's a great little bar...More

We went for sunday lunch and really enjoyed the whole experience. The aperitif board was just exceptional followed by a really excellent sunday lunch. The vegetables were sublime - a very different approach. My only criticism was yorkshire pudding with lamb. No - only with...More

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here - good selection of options for the 'roast' including brilliantly cooked whole plaice. Pork, lamb, beef, poussin and vegetarian options as well. Particularly impressed by the platter of starter 'bites' - great flavours. Copious quantities of vegetables and potatoes served...More

Beautiful food and cocktails! Not your typical pub grub it has a heavy french influence without being pretentious. We had a mixed starter which had cheese on toast type things and ham etc it was so good and then a steak and fries which was...More

Hi, there are basically two menus - one is a bar menu with smaller items and the other is the main restaurant menu. You can eat from both in either the bar or the restaurant. I think it would be good to book at the weekends... More
