Visited tea room today for lunch. £18 for two second rate sandwiches two cups of tea served in four cracked items of China including teapot and poor service. Would no way visit again.

Lovely cafe in a picturesque square but disappointed with the scones. At £2.25 for a scone I expected that they were home made and not 4 pack value scones wrapped in cellophane.

Some years since we have visited the area. We were pleased the quality of tea and service has remained high. Thoroughly recommend.

Dropped in for a coffee and Scone in the lavender tea rooms, staff are very welcoming and very helpful, sat outside on the tables, which had blankets on the chairs if needed, reasonably priced! Worth a visit if you are in Bakewell

After a substantial breakfast only had room for a coffee, but the food certainly looked very appetising. High Teas were advertised and they too looked very good served on multi tiered silver cake stands. Would have liked to sample one of their High Teas !!
