Spent an afternoon in Bakewell and stopped here, service was excellent and the fruit scones were lovely. We had my dog with us so we sat in the outside seating area where dogs are allowed, always a bonus to find somewhere allowing dogs.

Visiting Bakewell with my family who came from Austria for holidays, we were surprised to find a piece of Austria in the little town. Firstly, the location is delightful, with a lovely outside seating area, and a cosy upstairs dining area (mind your head, though!)....More

Goulash and bean soups were to die for only let down by the dry flakey baps that they were served with.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We have heard this compliment many times but never tire of hearing it. Sorry that you did not like the rolls...we warm them and that might make them flaky...some like it some don't...apologies.
Visited here with partner and two children. Ordered drinks, £2.20 for half pint of warm coke , no ice , lemon, dirty glasses. The same price for a bottle of water with the label removed - no glass. The place was busy so thought there...More
Firstly, the coke was straight from the fridge and nowhere on the menu does it say they come with ice and lemon. We are not perfect, and if the glasses were dirty we would have gladly changed them for you. Your review is riddled with...More
