Stopped here for breakfast on the way to Chatsworth House where we were booked in for afternoon tea after a tour of the house in its traditional Christmas manifestation. So, with no time for lunch, we needed a substantial breakfast. Wye's Waters did us proud. Despite a printed menu the cafe was very flexible about what we could include in... More

We were pleased to find this pleasant, friendly cafe open on Boxing Day. It was packed but we found a free table. We ordered hot chocolate, which arrived in fair time, and a fruit scone and a cherry Bakewell slice (both large), which took a while longer after prompting. However, apologies were made and we would revisit.

Visted this tea room for some lunch, have to say the food was of exceptional quality real home made food and the portion sizes were also very plentiful for the price we paid. Also have to say that Kevin and Donna the proprietors were very friendly and welcoming too, as whilst we were there they had some customers enter who... More

Very nice friendly café. Good selection of meals on offer. All very reasonably priced. This is my fourth visit to this establishment and the service has always been courteous, prompt and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.

We called in Wyes Waters for lunch after seeing the positive reviews on Trip Advisor but I think we were unlucky to catch them on a bad day when they were understaffed. The food was fine but the long wait and the many uncleared tables (due to lack of staff) let the place down. However, the staff on duty remained... More

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Bakewell. We had a very wholesome, home-cooked lunch here and very reasonably priced. Excellent service from the proprietors Kevin and Donna. Will certainly be returning and recommending to friends.

My friends and I stumbled upon this charming little cafe when arriving in Bakewell. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, but service was very good. The toasted sandwiches were full with filling (bacon, brie and cranberry) and the tea was delightful. The only thing that would have gained them a five star rating was when we enquired if the... Ok cafe in Bakewell. We were quite late in the day but staff were friendly and still happy to serve us tea and cakes.
