We often call here when walking in the area. Always great coffee and cakes, scones are good. Meals available too.

We stopped locals and asked where to have breakfast and they recommended this cafe. The staff are fantastic, really helpful and friendly. The food is great, reasonably priced and a great location.

On a day out in Matlock we came upon the Café when walking from the car park, it looked nice & inviting especially on a damp, dismal November day, on entering we received a friendly welcome. From J Boy of Derby This is a fantastic cafe in a beautiful park. The ham rolls are beautiful they certainly give a large amount of ham in the roll. Visited late afternoon with my partner (we're both 20-somethings) on a busy Saturday before the Matlock Bath Illuminations. Four of us and two dogs we came here on a windy Saturday,the lunchtime deals and the soup and a sandwich are EXCELLENT ,I had the mushroom soup it was delicious,two of us had the tomato soup it was also delicious. The sandwiches also where really good value and very filling ,nicely served by very pleasant staff .

Description
Our cafe is set in the beautiful award winning surroundings of hall leys park, we offer a wide range of light lunches, snacks and cakes many of which are homemade. We are open daily from 10am and offer indoor and outdoor seating, we also supply golf pitch and put, tennis and bowls hire from our cafe throughout the summer months and parent and toddler activity morning every Thursday during term. We are a small friendly family run cafe who believe in excellent food at an affordable price, we hope you enjoy our cafe as much as we do.
