I read the previous review which indicated 'a total lack of management' and I'd have to agree with that statement. This is a restaurant which seems completely confused with time line, customer service, and decent food. The service was slow and in disarray and some of the food lacked any substance whatsoever. There crab claws appetizer was a complete disaster;... More

I was on a tour and we had booked dinner at the hotel. The receptionist seemed keener to answer the phone rather than great us. Eventually we were shown to our seats. That was the last we saw of a manager. They were obviously very short staffed as we had to get up and find a member to ask for... More

Hotel restaurants can be hit and miss. Our dinner was part of the package . The dinner was very good. Both dishes served rare as we asked. Tasty and fresh. Can't be faulted . Service was quick and efficient

The standard of food here is very high, it will surprise you when you realise that it's a 3 star hotel. They definitely exceed expectations. Friendly staff and a fantastic menu. The restaurant and hotel are spotless. As a local I had never thought of having lunch here before but now I'll definitely come here more often.

We were blown away by the high standard of food served to our group. Everything from the fish, to the veg accompaniment right through to the vegetarian options were fantastic! The staff are so friendly and efficient, and went out of their way to make sure out party was enjoyable. Looking forward to eating here again!

We ate here with our two kids & really loved it. The kids menu & the kids activity packs were great to occupy them & we loved our meal.

We came back to the Bay for our first wedding anniversary having got married here last year. We took the package of three nights and two dinners. Given the high standard of cuisine in Kenmare we were not expecting our best meals to be here in the hotel. We could not fault any of our meals including breakfast and both... More

Large spacious restaurant but cleverly divided with moveable room deviders into sections. The decor is modern and a mix of gold and brown. One thing which did strike me was the lack of table linen there were no table cloths and the napkins were paper (thicker than normal but still paper). I had pumpkin soup followed by chargrilled chicken with... More

I was so surprised eating here as we stated for 2 nights in the hotel and one evening meal was included! The food was AMAZING, the freshest seafood was available and there was a diverse menu selection. We really enjoyed our meal! Something for everyone. The only downfall was the decode of the room was a bit dated!
