We were here in May 2017 with our 3 old daughter. We had two 3-course menu and delicious wine. It was a great experience, friendly owner and employee. Brought our daughter something to pay with, without even asking. The food was the best we had in Ireland, very tasty and well served. We felt very young there, the average age... More

Beautifully appointed dining room, our dinner here was perfectly cooked and the service was genuinely friendly, welcoming and on point! Highly recommended! I ordered a la cartel scallops that were perfectly seared, such tender care is so important with scallops! My husband order the early evening menu, somewhat limited but less expensive and his lamb shank was lovely! The location... More

Had a meal here on the last night of our stay with the friends we were staying with. Service was excellent and the food was well cooked and presented. All in all a very nice place to eat out.

Our party of 4 dined here on Easter Sunday and our one vegetarian was extremely well catered for while the rest of us enjoyed great seafood and the lamb shanks. The portions were very generous, the wine list nicely varied and reasonably priced, and we left feeling very well fed and looked after!

At short notice we tried to get a reservation on Easter Saturday but the restaurant was booked out. Thankfully they called us after there was a cancellation for Sunday evening. Our meal was excellent (I had the taster plate to start and scallops for main) but also the whole atmosphere and the friendliness and warmth of the people working in... More

Sorry to say I was disappointed with what could have been, should have been, awesome food. Nice presentation, friendly enough service. As other reviewers have said, the flavoring/spicing... just never really made it memorable. It looked like it should have wowed my mouth...but there wasn't enough complexity or spicing to make me pay attention. In addition, I barely touched what... More
