Pleasant people (the locals hang out in the bar) and good food. Good value for the money. Ask about the monkey's burial.

Sunday lunch - beautifully cooked beef (we were too late for the lamb :( unfortunately). Service was quick, both food and plate were hot and it was good value.

Gracious service in this very traditional bar. They host local musicians for sessions. You can bring you pup in, too. It is part of the lovely and welcoming hotel by the same name.

Great hotel in the heart of Clonakilty. You could spend hours walking and looking at the articles and picture along the walls. Very historic place. Sorry I didn't have more time to just stroll through the hotel and view its history. Will definitely return on...More
