We stayed at the hotel nearby and stumbled on this restaurant and I'm glad we did. It was busy but the wait was worth it. Once we sat at out table we got fast service and the food was very good. The drinks were amazing!!

Service-wise, Fishy-Fishy has a pretty commercial feel. It's busy, a bit noisey, very casual. It doesn't have, nor want, that "fine dining" feel. No one is hovering. However, the food... oh, my lord is it good. My wife said they were the best mussels she's ever eaten (a ***** recommendation). My lobster termador was delicious, with lots of butter and... More

Delicious meal in Kinsale. We ate fish fry, fishy fish pie. Appetizer was the taste of the sea. We had heard at home (Texas) that if when we went to Ireland, we had to eat here. Nice pictures of fishermen on the wall.

I can take or leave fish unless it is excellent. This was excellent. I had the cod with risotto and leak sauce. Divine. The cod was fresh and perfectly cooked. Wife had the mussels and loved them. The fresh oysters were a bit more salty than we're used to but delicious. Well priced wine list. Service was great.

Let me start off and say the food was good - had the chicken salad and it was exactly what I wanted and I was satisfied with the food. However the place was a production - nothing personal or intimate about it. If you're into going to a red lobster kind of place this would be it but there's nothing... More

Fishy Fishy is fabulous!!! The restaurant definitely lives up to its reviews. Had the Tuna remoulade which was out of this world. The organic salmon is to die for!!
