My favourite spot to have breakie with my hubby and 2 little girls or bring any visitors for a coffee and cake. The chocolate beetroot cake is to die for. All local ingredients and cooked from scratch- yum yum yum - you just have to go and try it out for yourself - you won't be disappointed ❤️

Kalbos is my favourite café in Skibbereen. They have a wonderful menu every day using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Good curries, salads, soups, sandwiches etc, lots of ethnic twists. Fabulous desserts and cajes with good wheat free options. Their coffee is excellent. They also have a café in the arts centre and a stall at the market on Saturdays.

this is a cafe with wonderful imaginative food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Their breakfast is excellent, and later on, their cakes are delicious. They also have a stall in themarket which is unmissable

My partner told me that this will possibly be in her top 5 favourite cafes of all time, it's that good! Not so sure about the gallery next door, but the coffee and cakes (especially the variety of cakes and pastries) here were excellent as were the staff who were friendly and polite no matter what, it seemed. Believe me,... More

We visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon when the cafe was filled with customers. Staff were calm, pleasant and helpful. Food was really excellent: delicious orzo and other salads, filled baguettes made with Arbutus bread, and a selection of small delectable cakes.

We had a lovely lunch but it was a bit on the pricey side. Desserts and cakes looked lovely but they were not covered and there were flies hovering over them as well as customers standing near them. Was lacking a little bit of atmosphere, need some nice background music, candles. Didnt have menu displayed outside which would be helpful... More
